About Me
I am a Milwaukee-based artist who studied Theatre Arts at the BA level at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. I primarily work as an actor and director for the stage, but also act for film, commercial, and voiceover.
My main love lies in Shakespeare: adapting and reimagining his works, and breathing new life into his text for a modern audience. I have produced several of my own adaptations of Shakespeare's plays, including a tragic take on The Merchant of Venice, a four-actor Macbeth, and a sequel to The Taming of the Shrew combining text from Shakespeare's original and Fletcher's Tamer Tamed.
I believe in the power of storytelling, especially when those stories are provocative and surprising, and force an audience to look inward. I believe in the healing qualities of the dark, the difficult, and the twisted. I hope to create art that tells the stories that are most often overlooked and silenced.
